Ms. Alvis practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Taxation, Business Entities, Non-Profit Organizations, and Commercial Transactions. Ms. Alvis graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in 2000 and an M.B.A. in 2002 and from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with a J.D. in 2005. While at the College of Law, Ms. Alvis was awarded the Allie M. and Robert E. Stephenson Scholarship. Ms. Alvis is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Ms. Alvis is also a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, the Oklahoma City Tax Lawyer Group, Order of the Coif and Beta Gamma Sigma.Whitney sits on the Legion Board for Culver Academy in Culver, Indiana, a boarding high school from which she graduated, and on the Board of the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health.
Whitney worked at the law firm of Mock, Schwabe, Waldo, Elder, Reeves & Bryant in Oklahoma City for two years prior to opening her solo practice in December 2006 in Norman, OK.
